Keiths fishing has taken him to many countries and he has caught a host of species from catfish, carp, barbel and pike to captain fish, puffer and sharks. His mainstay angling preferences being in the coarse fishing arena and he has taken part and won many matches in his earlier years. Keith has adapted his angling to suit his surroundings and after spending the majority of his life growing up around the pits and rivers in the New Forest chasing Carp and Barbel, he now lives in the valleys of South Wales where Trout are the abundant species.That didn't stop Keith though and his keenness to fish made him venture into other aspects he knew little about to start with. After spending a few years chasing Trout, Salmon and Sea Trout on the many Welsh rivers, he decided enough was enough and the pull of coarse fishing was too strong to deny any longer.

He then spent the next few years travelling backwards and forwards across the Severn bridge and made some huge sacrifices for his angling. The trips were long, tiresome and expensive but he caught the fish he wanted from many chosen waters across the bridge.
Now days Keith is to be found for the best part fishing the Rivers Wye, Severn and Teme for Barbel and chub and a few smaller secluded bolt holes for carp. He guides anglers on the River Wye, enjoys photography and writing. He is self employed and runs Nuts about Carp bait company.
